PLEASE. I made the mistake of doing this in high school, and it is just so unattractive and disgusting. I stopped after I witnessed somebody else do it. Spit and disgustingness comes out and just excuse yourself to the bathroom when you have to eat in order to take it out, ok?
Wearing a retainer is not a bad deal and it's worth it. I know people that thought they were too cool to wear it and literally are getting braces next month once again because their teeth shifted.
Clean it often and get a color that isn't noticeable when you laugh or talk. I got royal blue and I have no idea what I was thinking because now you can see a big slab of blue whenever I open my mouth. Or just get the clear one altogether.
