Poem for crush/revealing feelings

Question Posted Sunday November 15 2009, 10:20 pm

There is this guy who I like, but he is a senior in high school and I am a freshman. I always talk to him on our really long bus ride back from school and I know that we belong together. I recently wrote him a poem. I think that it is the best poem I have written, but I'm too nervous to give it to him or tell him about my feelings for him. How should I give it to him (without making myself look like a freak) and reveal my true feelings to him.

Love knows no boundaries. If you really feel this way about him, hold nothing back! On your bus ride home, compliment him to break the ice. Like, jokingly, compliment his eyes. "Omg! I've been dying to tell you this, but you have the nicest eyes! lol"
He'll probably laugh along with me. Then you can just follow that up with. "Oh! That reminds me.. I wrote a poem for you.. I really hope you like it." I hope that helps.. I wish you the best of luck!
