I have been friends with this guy since 9th grade and we are currently seniors. So we have an interesting relationship- we freely and often say we love each other and stuff. Ok so yesterday my friend randomly sends me a text saying "I love you" mind you, I have not spoken to him since last Thursday. So then he texts he saying that "Life is short and i had to tell you while it was on my mind" then he says "Why hide how you feel, knowing can make a difference because tomorrow is not guaranteed". So basically Im throw off by this and then i ask him today about it but he brushes it off as something totally different than the inherent meaning of the texts. I have sorta always liked him but I did not want to mess with our friendship. My friends who have known him since middle school says that he obviously likes me but Im not the one to say anything. What should I do?
