also, you'll need your birth certificate, and two forms of proof of residence, (ie: a piece of mail that was addressed to you). then you go to your DMV to turn these in, and you take the test. i just got mine today and be aware that waiting to take the test will take most likely, up to an hour. but the test is pretty easy, so its all good. :)

If you pass, you get your temps. If you don't you have to wait a couple weeks before you can re-take your test.
