"friend" is trying to get with him?
this might be quite long, but i will MUCHLY appreciate anyone who helps me out.
18/female. my friend taylor is about to turn 17 and the guy (joe) is about to turn 18.
so last night i hung out with my "friend" taylor. this was our second time hanging out, she's a cool girl i thought. well shes never met joe before but she seen him somehow and thought he was hot. she thought it was awesome that i was close with him. i told her our past, and how he tried getting with me. and how i've always had a thing for him. i was like yeah he is cute haha. well me and her went out to dinner and taylor was texting my guy cousin and he was like yeah im at the basketball game with joe and jeff. and taylor was like lets all hang out after? and i guess my cousin was like alright, at my house? well then a little after taylor texted him back i guess and was like make sure your friends are there! and then he was like well i guess after there going out to dinner, turns out they were going to the same place we were eating. we had no idea. so it had been a little bit and taylor kept bugging me like text joe to see if hes coming, and i was like nahhh thats ok. and she like grabbed my phone and tried calling him, but she called the wrong joe. well then like 5 min after joe actually called me and was like where are you? and i was like buffalo wild wings, and he was like ha alright well me and jeff are coming, stay there! and i was like alrighttt. me and taylor were playing the games they had there and i had my back turned and all of a sudden joe comes up from behind me and was like BOO! i jumped sooooo hard. he sat next to me (we were in a booth) because he didnt know taylor. well then taylor texted me and was like JOE IS SO HOT! and i was just like "haha yeahhh" then joes friend jeff came and taylor tried getting ALL the attention on her and trying to make me look dumb? it was sooo annoying. welll then i saw some friends i knew so i went to go say hi to them and then taylor came a little after and i went back to the table and joe was like alright we're going to head out, and he gave me a hug:) and then i was like jeff give me a hug too! and joe was like taylor nice meeting you. THEN get this, this is what kills me. i had my phone on the table and taylor grabs it and takes joes number! and i was like uhhh ok? are you going to text him? and she was like ahh i dont know i'm scared! and she was like will you text him and ask if i can have his number. i cant say no so i was like sure. so i texted joe and was like are you still up? taylor wants to talk to you, can she have your number? and he was like yeah thats fine. well then taylor texts him and was like heyy:) and i guess he was like hey whats going on. and she told me he had a smiley face at the end, HE DIDNT. she lied, i saw the text. well then they were talking and she was like your fine as hell. and he was like you really think so? thanks. and she was like hell yeah i do. and he was like thanks :) and she was like sams (me) parents are gone for the night, you guys should come over. (DIDNT KNOW SHE SAID THAT, SHE INVITED THEM OVER BY HERSELF)and i guess he was like were already home, otherwise i would of! and she was like you shouldnt of left so early! and he was like sorry! then i think he fell asleep.
i just wanted to cry. i couldnt believe she was doing that to me. and i dont know if joe was just trying to be nice by texting her back, or what? but just how he texted her, he NEVER texts me like that. i dont know :( i dont think he texted her today, i havent talked to him either though. im just so hurt..

well first i wanna say that this taylor girl sounds really clingy and annoying from what you told me here. so even if something does happen between her and joe (doubt it though because he doesn't seem that interested, it sounds like he's just being nice) he would realize that she's clingy and annoying. i hate when girls go crazy texting a guy the way she did like saying things like "you're fine as hell" right when they meet. i've talked to my guy friends about it and they think its slutty to come right off and do that without actually getting to know them first. i say you should still text joe, don't be like your "friend" though. if he texts both of you, he'll choose which one of you he wants (if he wants either of you). taylor can't make him like her and from what you said here she doesn't sound like anything special no offense to her. just play it cool and see where things go from there :)
