One of my best friends got a colored tattoo about the size of a fist on his shoulder and said it cost $250, the place was really nice and they charged by the hour. I'll be getting one on my hip that's about one inch by 4 inches in black and grey tones. Any predictions on the cost? The parlor was rated 5 stars in multiple reviews that I found, it's not the same one my friend went to. I've already emailed them but I haven't gotten a response.

It also goes by artist because every artist charges differently so while one will charge $250 another will charge more or less.
Just go to the shop and get the quote. That way if you have any questions about it, you can ask them. They probably know a lot more about this than we do, and I'm sure your friend would tell you the same thing I'm telling you right now. And if you wanna know how I know, I've got 3 tattoos. So, that should be experience enough. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]
