sobeg answered Wednesday October 14 2009, 1:09 am: Well you could ask him out without asking him out, I mean dont make it seem like your asking him out on a date more of like hey that new movie is coming out ..we should go watch it ( you, your friend and him) dont let him pay you all pay for your own ticket. then do it again like ...oh i really want to go to the park and hike or beach..and so on then if you want to just spend time alone to get to know him then you sort of say something that you know that hed be interested in doing or going but your friend cant. By this time you both will feel comfprtable being around each other and it wont feel like its new. this is just an idea that might work to get you to a point were you and him could talk somethign you both already have in common, and that might let him open up about possible feelings towards you or someone else. If he expresses feelings for you then you express you feelings and take it from there if he expresses feelings for someone else then you didnt risk anything.. you could try asking him whats his plans for the future, career? goals? kids? marriage? any special person? it might also give you a clue if this is a guy you might find even more interested or feel you can just be friends with. I hope this helps [ sobeg's advice column | Ask sobeg A Question ]
