Question Posted Sunday October 4 2009, 5:07 pm

I've been at college for a about 5 weeks and i was just getting over being homesick when parents weekend came. Well my parents just left and now i'm super homesick again. I go home for break in like 2 weeks so thats good but how can i stop being so homesick. it doesn't help that i haven't really adjusted yet and i'm having trouble making friends- which i also don't know what to do about. yes i've made some friends but not a lot.

please help! thanks!

Jump into work. I felt that that really helped. Make yourself busy so that you don't have time to think about being homesick.

Although i'm sure you don't need to think of things to do, college is no easy feat.
