I started dating a guy about a week ago and now i dont know if i really want to have a boyfriend. i really thought i did at the time but i find myself thinking more and more that i should just be single cause havin one is too limited. i would never cheat on him but im still gonna go out n flirt with other guys n talk to them. i like the idea of a boyfriend but then when i get one i dont want the relationship factor. i want everyting but the being tied down factor. i really like this guy but want to be able to see who else is out there too. what do i do? if i end it i will miss him but if i dont end it i'll be sad cuz im so tied up! is there a way to tell him i still wanna be close to him but i dont want to be actually dating?? the moment after i said yes i thought oh myy wait cant we just be dating but not technically? please help!
Daintree answered Sunday September 27 2009, 11:13 pm: You can't have both so make a decicion and stick with it. 17 too young to settle down obviously so I suggest you allow yourself time to decide if you want the next level of a relationship or friendship. don't answer too hasily always sleep on the question youve been asked. what you think tomorrow may be less than yesterday if it's more then that's feeling is getting stronger. use your common sence you don't want to be a heart breaker. you will know when you fall in love it really makes you walk on sunshine. I was 26 when I fell in love I married him we have been together 24 yrs now don't rush it Mr right is out there somewhere you just have go out there & find him he won't find you hiding in your bedroom will he? So Travel go get him [ Daintree's advice column | Ask Daintree A Question ]
