15 female. USA
What does it mean when a guy says "I'll have to think about it for awhile." a couple days ago I'll told my best friend I had a crush on him. and that's what he told me. I'll see him monday, but should I ask or just wait it out? Bonus, he just turned 18 yesterday(he's a senior in high school). I know there would be issues: maturity, religion, legal, ect! But it's not like were gonna have sex! I've even knowen people my age have a relationship with a 18 year old. All I would like to know is: What does he mean by "I'll have to think about it for awhile." and we there be any chance for a relationship? I mean get along so well, it's ubsurd (same relationship past, interest, ect.).

Daintree answered Monday September 28 2009, 8:48 am: He's too old for you he is ready to engage in sexual encounters & your still under age. there are laws it's called pedophile, statatory rape. Who knows if he is capable of violence your still a child your protection is paramount. if he is the best bloke on campus he is comendable he took the time to consider his place in all this. seriously try and find someone your own age between 15 & 18 there is a big difference between leaning for the first time verses been there done that. So don't worry about what other people do. You are not them you are you. your decisions are your own empowerment. [ Daintree's advice column | Ask Daintree A Question ]
