Time is definitely what you need. Let yourself crush on a guy and enjoy life, but keep in mind that you are getting over someone. You might be confused, but it'll all pass soon. After a few more months you'll be over your ex and you'll probably know this new guy better. I see that as a win-win situation. Make sure this new guy understands what you're going through if he just happens to like you. Time can cure and hurt depending on the situation, but yours will mend.
Live life.

You're not over the death of your ex. You really shouldn't be dating.

Give yourself time to mourn. It's only been a few months. If you start dating now, it'll only hurt you more.
