face edema (puffy face)

Question Posted Monday September 21 2009, 11:58 pm

I have a puffy face as a side effect from taking antidepressants. I hate it. My face is so puffy, my eyes look like they're being swallowed and they look all tiny. My cheeks are huge too. Anything that will help with this?
Thanks.

To a response from the previous answer, do not completely stop taking them. Call your Doctor prompto for an alternative antidepressant.

Right now, put ice on your face, and take some Aleve (NSAID) to help the swelling.
