okay, so, somebody hacked my facebook and posted a bunch of random and really embarrasssing statuses. now, they made an AIM screenname that's almost exactly like mine, just changing one letter. if i have their screen name, and theyre on their computer, could i track down their IP address from there to find out who it is? or should I leave this to someone more experienced?
You need to make a new screenname, and a new Facebook. Tell everyone on your current Facebook that you got hacked, and give a link to your new one. Make a new e-mail as well, and make sure that your password contains both numbers AND letters because those are harder to do. I realize it'll take a while & it's a pain in the ass, but there's no other way to get around it besides this. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]

Your best bet is to create another facebook and aim password, most people do not have a static IP address anyway, Yes, there are ways of getting around it but that you will have to google on your own as I will not paste anything that is showing or telling you how to do something that is illegal.
