My Dad was talking about the Terminator movies and how much he likes them. I thought maybe I would buy them all for his birthday that is coming up and surprise him with those since I KNOW he doesn't own any of them, even the one with Arnold Schwarzenegger or whatever. So, how many Terminator movies are there and what are the titles so I can find them?
Yes there are 4 movies and one series (which ran for 2 seasons). The first 3 movies are with Arnold. Of all of them, nr 2 is generally regarded as the best and it was a very revolutionary movie in its day (in terms of effects, budget, etc). A truly epic movie as far as sci-fi is concerned.
The last one (nr 4) on the other hand was the most incredible garbage you could possibly have conceived- truly beyond words. You might just ask your dad if he liked it, because I know that for myself (as a big T. fan) I would not watch it again for all the tea in China.
As for where to find them, it should be easy both online or in a store. As mentioned below, Amazon is a definite possibility. You can also just google "buy terminator movies" if you want to compare prices etc.

Terminator.
Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines.
Terminator 4: Salvation.
There's also a series on TV called Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find the movies on Amazon.com (if you would like to order online) or you can try & get them at Best Buy. Maybe even Wal*Mart or Target. :) [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]
