Gauges(Tapers)

Question Posted Tuesday August 25 2009, 9:17 am

Soooo.
I got my ears pierced liiiike, 6 months ago. Just so that I could get gauges :D
I just ordered some acrilic ones online. They look pretty legit. Then I read somewhere that acrilic isn't that great for healing.
I have trouble with wounds healing fast. Piercings, anyway. After 6 months, I'm still getting irritation. So I wanna do this right. Would you suggest I wait and buy some steel ones or something? The acrilic ones were cheap, so it's not a big deeeal.

thankss(:

Oh btw, I'm at a 18 now and these are 14's. Dunno if that's helpful info or not, lol.

From my experience with piercings, I say stick with surgical steel. But that is my opinion.

If your piercing isn't healed yet, you need to wait for that to happen before you start messing around with jewelry swaps and what not.
