my boyfriend is looking to buy the new kawasaki ninja 250R for his first motorcycle .. do you think its a good idea? or is there a better option?

have fun identifying him at the morgue if he does something stupid. Ninjas tend to make people stupid. had a buddy of mine fly through a red light and into the side of a minivan about two months ago on one of those corpsemakers. tell him to get something used and not fast.

then remember this as they scrape him out from around the engine block of an eighteen wheeler: getting dumb on a fast bike is not hard, but walls, cars, and trucks most certainly are.

great idea. ninja's are dangerous but if he's responsible enough not to go 140 on a freeway then he's golden. no motorcycle is safe if you're going 140. there may be better options but if he wants that one, support him. as long as he's gonna be safe.
