I just recently posted a question about a gun tattoo on my hip. I have changed my mind. I now want to get "Love is much like a rose, beautiful and calm, but willing to draw blood in its defense"
and with this I want to get a rose with blood dripping from it.
I plan on getting the same rose tattoo my mom has, so that way we can have a tattoo together, but yet its still my tattoo.
Any ideas on how this should look or things you would add or change about it.
I want to get it on my ribs, because I dont want any tattoos on my legs, arms and stuff. I'm trying to keep all my tattoos on my middle body.

I definitely like the putting the tattoo on the rib idea!
I found a link with this picture on ebay that may give you an idea of how you want it to look with the rose and blood dripping:

You can have the words you want tattooed on your ribs and then have the rose either under/next to/on top of it.
However, I actually like this idea; basically..they do the writing and then in the "middle" of the writing you have the rose with blood.

Of course, you'll probably get it smaller because you want it on your ribs. But! I just wanted to show you of how I think it'd look nice because, as you see, the rose is like in the middle of the writing :D.
It's up to you though! I'm sure whatever you choose will come out wonderful!

I think you can get it on your hips still.
You can try and get 2 roses on your hips and then connect the roses with barbed wire & have the quote above it. :)
