Alright so last night this guy came to give me a hug and I hugged him but he wouldn't let go. And I was like "Dude, I gotta go." And he kept saying "Tap out! Tap out! Tap out!" and laughing. What does "tap out" mean??
christina answered Wednesday August 12 2009, 12:21 am: It's a term used in wrestling, MMA fighting, stuff like that.
Usually, when someone has another person in a hold, the person will tap out, and the person who has them in the hold lets go. So, in order for the guy to let you go during the hug, he wanted you to tap out so he could let you go. :) [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]
