Offended!
Hi,
I have come across several answers of yours to other questions on this site. You always post
"I find that I am a great deal older than most of the advisers on this site, so my advice will be somewhat different from what you have received and may continue to receive from others."
Why is this? I'm not being mean I am trying to understand why..I am truely offended by this only because I feel insulted as it comes across as an insult to those who are younger than you. It sounds conceited. Could you please stop?

The people that write to this website may be looking for advice from their peers. The fact that I am of an age that is closer to that of their grandparents or parents is something they should be aware of when they read my answers. It is not meant to offend other columnists on this site.
One thing I have been pleasantly surprised by is the degree of caring I see in the answers given to many of the questions. I may not always agree with the way the answer is given the accuracy of the answers is general right on.
Call my preface in my answers my own version of truth in writing as I don’t wish to mislead anyone into thinking I am someone I am not. If you like just call it old age, but as I said it is not meant to insult anyone.
I hope you understand and I have answered your question.
