hi, i was just hoping to get your opinion on something: what do you think is the most independant animal? something which doesnt trust others too easily, and is cautious?
any ideas? i was thinking of a king cobra? but any ideas are welcome
xosodapopx3 answered Sunday August 2 2009, 9:57 am: I can agree with King Cobras,
aligators and crocodiles seem pretty independant too, or sting rays. Spiders too, like the black widow or terantula. [ xosodapopx3's advice column | Ask xosodapopx3 A Question ]

Tiger. The tiger is a confined solitary hunter, coming together with its own kind only to mate and raise the young. Other than that, the tiger hunts alone, sleeps alone, travels alone... basically does everything alone... except for sex of course, which cannot be done alone!
Sharks.
The amoeba. Self replication, minimal living space, simplified energy requirements. "It don't need nobody!"
Preying mantises. They're so independent that they'll eat their siblings and the females will eat their mates.
