Micro SD Card no being read?

I just bought a micro SD card 4GB. and my card reader isn't reading it. No removable disk E shows up.
No CDs came with it.
What should I do?

I know that at my school, the card readers won't read 4GBs. I don't know why, it's a technical thing, maybe the 4GB cards were after their time.

What are you using the SD card for? If you're using the SD card for pictures, I would put the card back into the camera and use the USB cord that came with it. Good luck!
