if you don't want a friend on there anymore how do you get them off

how do you get someone off if you don't want them to be on your friends list anymore?

Friends list on what? Facebook? MySpace?

On either of these sites, click "Friends" on the top of the page, find the relevant person's name, and there should be a link that allows you to remove them as a friend.

If you need more help, be more specific.
