alriqht well theres this boy haha. we've hung out in a group of people once or twice.. i know he thinks im cute but he thinks alot of girls are cute..(hes a flirt) i havent kissed him even though i want too. he deffinitly doesnt like me but i know he wants too hook up & shyt. hes not a player though because hes had long relationships before. problem is his best friend LIKES ME. therefore if we do hang out in a group like nothing could happen for that reason anyways. so how do i become "girlfriend" material and not just a cute hook up buddie? =(

just ask one of your freinds to see if he likes you or not and if he do like you just make him jealous by going out with his freind and that will make him go crazy about you then if he dont like you make him jealous anyways for fun

why dont you just tell him you like him? if you are to shy have a friend or write a letter. yeah, it is childish but it gets the point across. and as for his friend tell him and his friend you dont like him like that. and also try hanging out with him alone. talk to him more, text him more. and be very flirty. not slutty though, cuz then you will be just a cute hook up buddie. good luck

try getting him in a group maybe were his best friend isn't there, do you have his number? send him random text once in a while, not as in everyday maybe like once a week asking things like Hi, How are you? or Whats up just small talk, then try to get him talking more and more to you, use facebook or myspace if you both have it.
try dropping little hints that you like him.
take interest in things he likes to do, if he plays baseball.. go to his games not alone of course because the you would seem creepy but if you went with some friends, or join a club he's in at school
anything to make him notice you more and see that your into things he's into.. maybe listen to some of his favorite kind of music anything can help
