how accurate are generic brands of pregnancy tests?

does anyone know how accurate generic brands of pregnancy tests are? i know first response is pretty much the best, but i bought the walgreens brand that said compare to first response.

My frans buy them from the dollar store, and they work just as good as any name brand.
But this is most of the time, if you buy cheap you sometimes get cheap, but you just need to get the job done, so I am sure it is just as accurate as any name brand. Afterall, they read the same hormone when you pee on the stickk....

ohitscassidy answered Sunday July 26 2009, 10:19 pm: they work fine, i bought one from a local gas station actually.. and exactly a week after my missed period i took the test and it came out positive and i was pregnant, so they all work pretty good.
