Did your ex ever compliment you on a certain outfit? Or was there something you wore once that made him check you out a little more than usual? If so, I'd go with that.

The most important thing is that before you leave the house, make sure the outfit is one that makes YOU feel hot. As long as you've put some effort into looking good and you're confident how you look, all will be good.
I cant give you any exact outfit tips since I dont know what's in your closet and what your style is. However, if he dated you before you're obviously his type so we already knows he finds you and your style attractive.

okay i would advice you not to look too over the top and done up,because then it would like your trying too hard and you don't want that.
keep it casual yet dressy =)
so i would go for something like skinny jeans(if you wear them or normal jeans) with a nice pair of pumps and a cute top with a bit of cleavage but not too much on show,see if you dress simple enough you can jazz everything up with your hair and make up =]
you could wear a cute denim skirt maybe with leggings and a top..
it all depends on your style? so its hard to say.
just try find something in between that will still make him go..woah she looks hot =] but without making him think..oook little slutty trying to hard..if you get me?
