I am a 17 year old girl about to start my senior yearvin high school. The past year has been a bit stressful and an emotional rollarcoaster and I have gained almost 20 pounds. I am 5'4" and not comfortable with my current weight of 158 lbs. My entire family has hasd some sort or weight problem for as long as I can remember and I guess they don't want me to turn out like them so they go around callingbme fat and talking to each other about my weight gain. I have always played a sport but this yeAr I have to focus on college and my future goals, so I plan on coach ing my school jv teAm.. But I won't be gettiguch excerise and I won't have time to go to the gym between AP courses, theater, work and hockey. I really want to lose work but I can't seem to get up and go because I am so tired. All that I am doing is the cut back version.
Help? I have tried to just work on my diet but I am just going in so many different directions it is hard enough to eat, let alone eat healthfully. I just don't knowbhowbto conquor this.
I would love to lose about 15 pounds before my senior pictures in 4 weeks and maybe 25 before school starts in 6 weeks. I don't think I will have a problem maintianing but just getting there is a challenge..
Any help?
Peace and love :)

Lose soda... as in drink nothing but water. It'll carry out all the waste and you'll drop weight even if that's all you're doing (maybe a lb or two, but it's a start).
Walk where you can. It's just a little change, but if you can walk there, do it. It's just a little more exercise and it shouldn't take that much time out of your busy schedule. I wish I worked close enough I could walk... or that I could walk to my college...
Don't eat after 7PM. Your metabolism slows around that time.
Try to grab as much veggie as possible instead of meat. If you're eating fast food, only eat half your meal. Save the rest and eat it later. The calories in fast food are killer.
If you can cut your calories back to about 1500 you'll lose weight consistently, and going back to your normal diet won't be that hard... Calorie tracking can be a little tedious, but if you just kinda carry a notebook and jot it down that's the fastest and easiest way. You won't even have to exercise.
