Hey,
okay so theres this guy *Jake, and I actually really really like him,I get butterflies around him and when we talk and stuff, hes so kind and sweet to me and I know he likes me too we text non stop sometimes until the early hours of the morning and he always asks me am I getting tired etc. hes just not like all the other guys i usually end up attracting or going out with.
we were in holland last week and we kissed,he was one of the best kisses ive ever had,and he didnt try anything else and he respects me.
he was even worried i would regret kissing him lol i got a bit drunk one of the nights over there and he looked after me didnt try take advantage or anything.
so on to the problem,he lives in a different county like 2hours from me.
we know each other through this sports club(kinda confusing wont go into it)
but yea we always see each other when theres tournaments and stuff on.
hes coming down to where I live on sunday and weve been flirtig like mad and i know were gonna end up getting together again.
but my question is should i let myself fall so hard?when probably nothing will come of this becuase of the distance?or should I just keep doing it for the fun and stuff?or Just back out now and stay friends? =/
he said one of the nights in holland that he has a car etc because someone asked aw where we together and did we live near each other.
so I really dont know do you think anything could come of this or am i just getting false hopes?
but I like him so much and just wish we lived nearer its like i finally find a decent guy and he lives ages away =(
anyone have any advice on what I should do?or has been in a similar situation thanks :)
I was in a long-distance relationship myself. I am in Ohio; he lived in Tennessee. It took months to see him in person. It was a long wait. He did finally move up here. We didn't end it b/c of the long distance.. just other reasons.
Well anyway, if you really do care for him and you're willing to do the long-distance then totally go for it. It does take more commitment and trust than a regular relationship.
He sounds like a great guy. I'd definitely keep him if I were you =]
itstimetoknow answered Friday July 17 2009, 8:58 pm: well, it depends.
are you okay with long distance relationships?
if not, maybe you should just be friends.
if so! just call each other every night and stay in touch.
don't make it to serious though.
and visit each other every once in awhile.
or meet up somewhere.
