i have more than one question but i just want to give some backround info so maybe people wont call me a murder and such.
im 17, no job my parents are getting a divorce(moms 2nd husband) and were moving into a one bedroom apartment me and my mom, my boyfriends family are drug addicts and dont care about there kids or anyone.my boyfriend, 19 years old condom broke and we didnt even no it and i got pregnant i found out at 6 weeks we both are having horrible problems and things going on in our life im not graduated from highschool or anything yet, and i had an abortion i was already as it is an emotional wreak from everything going on my grandfather just died and everything was going wrong and we were moving into a one bedroom apartment .. and i had to get an abortion i was extreamly upset and still am crying everyday but i know we didnt have what we needed in life to raise a child. i asked these questions on yahoo answers and all i got was i am a murder and that is extreamly hard to here after everything so, whatever call me what you want.
my first question is i got it done saturday and its thursday, how long should i expect to bleed, and is this considered my period?
and i noticed when i exercise that i bleed more.. should i stop excessing ?
And yes, you should stop exercising for about 3 weeks. Here are basic things that you should do after an abortion:
---Drink a lot of water
---Eat healthy food and try to sleep at least 10 hours a day.
---No exercise for at least 2 weeks (3 or 4 weeks is recommended).
---Do NOT let anything go into your vagina. That includes anything from a penis to the water in the bath tub, and even tampon (you can use a pad instead)
---Did your doctor prescribe you antibiotics? If he did, then take them.
Things to watch out for:
---It is possible that you will have a fever during this period. If you do have a fever, go to a doctor to check on infection as soon as possible.
---If you have an infection, an incomplete abortion is also a possibility (either that or you just did not take care of your vagina well during this period). Normally the doctor would do this, but just to double check, after about 12 weeks, check if there's a placenta attached to the fetus (it supposed to look like a flat, meaty piece of tissue).

Well, about the murder part, I don't know. People who are not in your situation cannot understand you, and I am no exception. I can argue why abortion is wrong as well as why abortion is right, too. So to be honest, I must say that it is depend on the situation.
If you had not done the abortion already, I may say something, but you have already done it. What is done . . . is done. There is nothing more to say about it. Don't feel too bad because of what people said, all right? Right now, just focus on recovering from the abortion--not just physically, but mentally as well.

the 1st thing you should do if you get pregnant unexpectedly is to consider adoption. you SHOULD have carried it out full term, gave birth, and then gave up the baby. most people will pay all your hospital bills for you if you agree to give them your baby.
INSTEAD, you might have seriously damaged your uterus, and possibly never be able to have children now.
I dont think after an abortion, you should excercise at all. You have to "heal" which means you need to take it easy for a while. I seriously hope that you consider other options if there is a next time. abortions can do serious damage to your body, and also you are now subseptable to many infections.
i dont think this bleeding is a good sign. Get checked out to make sure. they should be able to tell you why you are bleeding and how long it will last. [ steph2k10's advice column | Ask steph2k10 A Question ]
