how to diy on this shirt? Ok, so I really like the idea of making a shirt look cool without buying it like that, like DIY kinda thing. Well, my style is more "rockerish" such as audrina patridge, megan fox, and people like that. Well, I just bought this shirt, only in gray:

and I though I could do someting to sortof "rough" it up a bit. I'm just not sure what to do. I was thinking of making fray at the ends maybe or something like that. Does anyone have any cool ideas I could do to the shirt? Thanks!

take some rusted metal, spray it down with vinegar, and sit it on the shirt. the rust will come off on it, then after about a day, take some soda ash solution and spray it down to set the rust in. it looks badass. google "rit dye", their site has some cool ideas, and rit dye is in pretty much any supermarket.

when I think "rocker" i definetly do not think of Audrina P. or megan fox. Kat Von D is definetly more of a rocker style, go to google and search for kat von D in the images. look at some of her shirts shes wearing and see if you can duplicate those looks on your shirt. Its an artistic experiment, there is no wrong answer, have fun with it! ]
splatter a little bit of black paint on it.
cut off the collar and make it a V neck.
cut slits on the two bottom sides.
there are a lot of ideas on youtube. you could probably search DIY t shirt and find a lot.
i saw a really cool one with kat von d a while ago i'll find it for you.

and i'm sure there are a lot more!
