About 1 week ago my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and after i took an emergency contraceptive....And since yesterday i have had something like my period but darker and thicker why is that?

Don't worry, the morning after pill should of worked but it can maybe screw up your cycle, so this may be the reason for the difference in your period. If you have any more troubles on your next one then maybe go see a doctor, but it is most probably nothing. Be safe.

The morning after pill (aka EC) can screw up your cycle. And it usually does. More than likely, it made your period come sooner. Periods can be different some months (color, etc), especially if you recently subjected your body to a couple weeks worth of hormones, so don't worry about anything for now. If it continues, and you're still convinced that something's up, callyour doctor. But in the meantime I wouldn't be concerned about anything.
