I have stretch marks on my thighs from a growth spurt, and I want to know if anyone has like secret tricks to get rid of them, I don't have coco butter like everyone says works, and I really can't afford to go out and buy products, does anyone have a good way to get rid of them within a few weeks or months?

I got stretch marks on my thighs from pregnancy and I felt so ugly because of them. I hated looking at my legs in the mirror. Now four years later you can only see them if you are looking for them. It takes about 2 years for the color to fade all the way. There isn't really a way to speed up the process aside from oils, lotions and creams. I bought a cocoa butter lotion from bath and body works which was a little more expensive but it was worth it. They have a ton of lotions at wal mart though that are probably just as good for under $10. ANy type of lotion helps though. To prevent more from appearing use lotion (doesn't have to be for stretch marks) or baby oil on your thighs, butt and stomach daily. I hope this helps. Good Luck.

Stretch marks are damaged skin that cannot be repaired. They are similar to scars. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

I have extremely bad stretch marks, I just started using the product and it takes three months to start seeing results(I think that's what the instructions say).
It's not very expensive only about 15 dollars for a small bottle which isn't all that small and you can pretty much get it at any drug store, not behind the counter either.
If you're really concerned you can go to your doctor about a cream that works even better and if you have medical I think it would be covered on that, not a hundred percent sure. [ Age's advice column | Ask Age A Question ]

I couldn't afford to buy any expensive products either. So I was asking around and someone told me to put normal lotion on my stretch marks it every night. I have been putting it on my stretch marks for about a month and a half and they have been clearing up, they have faded quiet a bit. And Im sure it would do the same for you good luck!
