Question Posted Thursday June 11 2009, 9:44 pm

ok so this might be a stupid question but on the sat i know they have a bunch of formula's listed at the top of the math section but i was doing a practice test in an act book and it didnt have any formulas at the top of the test. For those of you who have taken the act, do they give you any formulas for the math section? I really hope they do or im screwed for this saturday! ugh! sorry if this is in the wrong category, i didnt really know where to put it. Thanks in advance!

I took the ACT in March, and I don't remember formulas.

A lot of the math was proportions and adding degrees in triangles, which doesn't require an equation.

My guess is that if they were to give you a problem that required an equation, you would get it.

But I honestly don't remember formulas.

Yes, they either provide you with a formula sheet or they provide the formula in the problem. It would be difficult to memorize all of those formulas so it is a state regulation that they provide them.
