Hi there... If you haven't had your period very long then yes it can be normal. It could still be adjusting to your body.

If however, if you have had your period for a while and you seem to be skipping periods then perhaps you should see a GP.

There could be a number of reasons as to why you skipped your period though.

- Stress
- Exercise
- Pregnancy
- Irregular Cycle

If your wanting a regular cycle then the contraceptive pill would be the best option. Although it's a contraceptive method, it's not always used for contraception.

Hope I helped :)

How old are you? When did you first start your period? Mine was regular for 2 years before it just started going crazy. It got so bad that I finally went to the doctors and got birth control. However, I wouldn't worry about it yet. Just wait and see how it goes and be sure to track your periods whenever they may come. If your cycle does not jump back into a normal cycle after a couple of months, then make an appointment with your doctor to make sure everythings okay.

Good luck :)
