Garnier Fructise works THE best, it also doesn't have that smell that burns your nose and eyes. and it leaves your hair feeling soft. It comes with a color locking conditioner. It's a bit more expensive then the cheap brands, but it's worth it.

One of my friends in cosmetology says that anything made by Garnier is the best, because there's something different about the chemicals.
I use Garnier & my hair's never been damaged from color at all.
