I am considering buying the Sims 3 but I have one very specific question about the game.
Can you transfer characters from the Sims 2 to the Sims 3 game if you have both of them installed? I like my Sims 2 families and would like to be able to add them to my Sims 3 game without having to remake them entirely, if possible...
daydreaming718 answered Tuesday June 9 2009, 1:39 pm: No, the Sims 3 makers answered this in a Q&A. They said "There are so many innovations in The Sims 3 so it’s really not possible to transfer items or Sims from previous games. The level of detail in The Sims 3 is so high that any conversion from older games would not be satisfying for players."
But the Sims 3 is still a great game. :] I have it and I love it because you can actually go to neighbors houses and around town, whereas in the Sims 2 you're kind of stuck in your own house. [ daydreaming718's advice column | Ask daydreaming718 A Question ]
