Well, the guy that I've been talking about that I've liked for like three, coming up to four years now.
I decided not to tell him,cos we've become pretty good friends and I don't want to ruin it and I know him well enough to know I would rather stay friends with him than lose him altogether. But the problem is,this has been goin on for SO long that I dunno how to get over him?
Any one any tips?
Don't say getting with other guys, cos tried that a few times and just ended with me still liking him and the other guy getting hurt because I still like this guy,so don't want that to happen.
I'm female,16 by the way
Thanks to anyone who helps.
So pretend you don't feel a thing until you don't, you will eventually get over it or be driven mad enough to DO something.
Or make a move and see how things turn out.
Everything will work itself out eventually, its not having the courage to do anything that eats away at a person, and besides, I have seen people lose those they said they could not live without, and they end up fine. They get over it eventually, its human nature.
If you just let it eat away at you, you will probably just make it akward for the guy if he doesn't like you, and it will drive him away.
Katlyn answered Thursday May 28 2009, 2:33 am: Well i think you should just ask him to hang out not exactly a date just hanging out and if you and him both have a good time then he will probably ask you out himself but if not then you should just straight up ask him if he likes you or not and dont think so much about it ruining your friendship because if you cant be a couple you really shouldnt be friends because you will feel jelous if he goes out with someone else and you just wont be able to stand having him in your life as just a friend. Good Luck to you :) [ Katlyn's advice column | Ask Katlyn A Question ]
