your only 16 and you shouldn't have sex until you are in a fully commited relationship. Sex is something that should be enjoyed between a married couple.

Foreplay can last a while. Your guy may be a little excited the first time or two and not last very long. Its perfectly normal, so if that happens, don't worry about it. It has NOTHING to do with how much you love each other.

Sex, like everything else in life is a learned thing. Do not get disappointed because you have read stories or heard tales from other teens about how great it is. A couple has lots of things to learn about each other and what pleases the other. That takes time.

I'm not saying it can't be pleasurable or fun. Just don't expect some perfect thing complete with fireworks the first time. I'm sure a lot of young girls feel disappointed after reading some of the answers given here by other young story tellers.

Relax as much as possible & use that protection.
If your relationship lasts a good long time, it will get nothing but better.

It all depends if you really love each other! I have noticed that if you actually love someone it can last a long time. My 1st time with my gf was about 40-45 minutes and I'm glad your using protection, sex is a beautiful thing when done with the right person and at the right time.

My first time lasted probably about ten to fifteen minutes. It was painful, so I had to stop, haha. But even if it doesn't last a long time the first time, you can always do it again in the same night.

Good luck,

Darby(:

My first time lasted a couple of minutes. But everyone's duration of sex varies all the time. For some it takes seconds; others it takes minutes.

You can try to make it a bit longer by darkening the room, and add some romance a few minutes prior to sex. Do some sexual touching so you can get ready.

I am glad that you're wanting to lose your virginity to him, as well as he losing his virginity to you. Good luck on the special night =].
