PunkieFreak4690 answered Tuesday May 26 2009, 6:22 pm: Previous columnist is somewhat right. Menopause does vary on genetics and sometimes vary when you first started your period. They've noticed that if you started early you'll go into menopause early. The average range of menopause is 45-50 years old. Most people I know didn't go into menopause until they were 48-49. Again it does vary. It's rare for someone to start in their 60's.
aliarrogancexx answered Tuesday May 26 2009, 4:38 pm: alot of it depends on genetics, but not always. for example, my grandmother was 55 when she started menopause (when your menstrual cycle stops) but my mom is 43, and going through it now. the average range to experience menopause is about 40ish to 60ish. but the majority of women have it happen around their 50's, i believe. 17/f [ aliarrogancexx's advice column | Ask aliarrogancexx A Question ]
