What are the top 10 places to live in Dallas, Texas?

Question Posted Friday May 22 2009, 10:45 am

With a great school system, good sports (especially volleyball!) great town, great people.. all that. It has to be in Dallas, Texas and it has to be public school. Thanks!

Public schools aren't great in Dallas, but the top 5 would be:

Highland Park
TAG
Booker T. Washington
Hillcrest
Woodrow Wilson

^^Those are really the only 5 to focus on. Granted some are specialty schools, i.e. Booker T. is for the arts, and TAG is for the gifted and talented. Highland park is amazing at Volleyball. Highland Park is rather expensive to live in, but you can live in University Park and still attend. Both Highland Park and University Park are in the middle of dallas, and are considered dallas. I hope this helps.
