crazy application stories i have heard stories where people hand in blank applications to harvard or write absurd things and.. GET IN.
does anyone know any information about this?
ex: on question for the Harvard application was what was the craziest thing youve ever done? and the student replied "this" and wrote "this"on a post it and handed it in.
among those lines...
and what is your view on those types of things? to be spontanious on your application.

I've heard that one year, Harvard asked "What is courage?" and a kid responded "This is." I've also heard that someone asked applicants to describe themselves, and one kid wrote "I am succinct." But I'm pretty sure those are just rumors/legends.
As for my view on "those types of things?" I think it's up to you, are you willing to risk it? It's certainly a bold and unique statement for the admissions officers. ]
I love things like this. It's so cool that people can be THAT unique on a college application and still get accepted. It shows that you don't have to do the boring, typical thing in order to get a job or get a good education.
