So, many jobs these days are making you do a credit check online. They'll recommend you a website, and you fill it out. Then almost at the end they tell you they will put you on a free subscription for something and then charge you monthly of like 40 dollars.
My question is, are there any completely free credit check websites where there are no hidden fees? I googled so many but they all charge you, even when they claim "it's all free."
The above link is from Trans Union, a credit reporting agency. By law, you can get your credit report for free, once a year. You don't have to sign up for anything. They must give you a free report. Experian is another credit reporting agency. [ Smartone's advice column | Ask Smartone A Question ]
