I've met this guy and when we are together we communicate, have fun, things are great! But when we aren't together (he lives 4 states away) and we have to talk on the phone, he does 99.9% of the talking.. and it's usually him just being silly, and I'm just sitting there laughing or saying "yeah", "ok" etc. He tells me he gets frustrated that I never talk to him. The problem is, I don't even know what to talk about! Maybe my question isn't so much how, but what to talk about..

Dearbookworm answered Saturday April 25 2009, 11:12 am: if he does most of the talking how are you suppose to get the conversation started? if you don't know what to talk about with him that really is just one of the things that makes our lives suckish, by not being able to form sentences to the person we like, but talk about what he likes or what you want to do when he get back things of that nature. the only problem that you have is that you can't get your thoughts voiced since he does 99.9% of the talking. if it makes you mad that he is mad because you aren't talking to him, then tell him to let you talk and not take over the conversation.
