Personally i find faces hard to draw do not drawin the eyes n stuff was totally awesome for me =D- Natural Forms project.this was my first project as an art student. The artist i looked at was randall-page, henrry moore, blosfeldt and michael gutteridge. MY final peice was a collabiriation of plants and flowers in different medias and a totem pole insprired by henry morre.. personalyl i ahted this project but some bits were really cool. i drew flowers, leafs, um statues... things with tone and natural things liek trees.-Modern Individualsthis project was my second project.it was about well.. modern individuals. Like drawing people and such and such. some people chsoe to do famous people... and some choose to do everyday people.. um i looked at people in everyday situations liek shopping... but my cherelading side got thebetter of me and i did a cheerleader for my final peice. um... which i painted on canvas-Figures in the Interiorthis project was a continuation of the above topic. but about things or people inside somewhere. some people did things such as babies in the womb.. while others did things like a cat in a basket. or someone in a sports hall.. i had a picture of a girl in a trolley drinkin coke and i chose to do that. um other people in my class chose other topics:-Red. some poepl looked into different thigns to do with red... the Red owuld be the main colour or the most attractive colour in the piece.. some people did a monotone with red... while other did something like a red flower... other poeple lookd into the concept of blood and feeligns such as love and hate.-Emotion. MOst people that chose this did a still life of someone look angry or scared and such an such. i think one person did a surrealism peice.-comoflague... looking at things camoflaguing... my mate did this because he absokutley HATES toning! really nice peice of a tiger and zebra (bother red and black with a stripy red and black background.. it look totally awesome! You could look at things like troops clothing and tigers fur.
-marriage and weddings/and ceromonies. kind of explains itself heehe.. funerlas marigages christanings baptising olympics

TheGivingTree answered Wednesday April 22 2009, 1:21 pm: I always feel inspired when I have nostalgic memories. Disney movies, coloring books, old songs from the 90's, certain smells or foods, stuff like that. I'm not an art student so i'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, but i've always thought the best art has been when the artist puts her heart on the canvas and can really show the viewer where they come from and how they see the world now.
Just don't do the Minnie Mouse full of poo, or the broken picture frame of a supermodel, it's overdone. haha, you'll be fine, no one knows you better than you. Good luck! [ TheGivingTree's advice column | Ask TheGivingTree A Question ]
