What do I say to him?

Question Posted Saturday April 11 2009, 11:58 pm

17/F
Seattle, Washington

Hello, thanks for reading :) I have really liked this guy for almost a year, and I know at a time he really liked me too. I am going to be seeing him at a dance soon, and I have felt like this would be the perfect oppertunity to clarify a few things between us. Should I ask him how he feels? How should I tell him how I feel? Thanks again for the help!

Yes you should try to talk to him. Yes,you should make it clear that you have some interest. I'd just keep it really simple and say something like 'i like you and i'm always hoping that we may get to hang out more.' you don't want to say anything too over the top even if you do feel it. you don't want to be like "oh i'm so in love and can't get you out of my mind" all i mean is there is such a thing as coming on too strong. it scares people. even if they like you they don't think they can return the feelings. so be somewhat moderate with any talk of feelings. if the guy doesn't feel the same it's okay. sometimes guys will warm to the idea a bit down the road. you have one life. you're going to feel miserable if you never take a chance. the worst that can happen is you'll be sad for a few days. but there is so much more upside. go for it. each time you take a chance it gets easier.

I think you should pull him aside and talk to him one on one and ask him how he feels about you.But first, you should tell him how you feel about him first.LOL!And if he feels the same way then hey you guys should get together and have fun.Hope i helped!

Hey

I think that it's best if you do ask him what he feels. If he likes you too, this could be great for the both of you. If he doesn't, it might be a bit hard but then you won't have to always worry about whether or not he'll like you. I think that you should just slowly approach him with the question. Talk for a bit, maybe ask him how his love life is going. Hopefully he'll get the hint ;) Then maybe just let him know what you've been feeling, and then ask him. If he says he doesn't like you, don't take it the wrong way. You guys are still good friends :) I'm sure there's a very big possibility he DOES like you though.

Good luck! Let me know what happens.
