Vivienne answered Friday April 10 2009, 4:14 pm: so, this eye makeup isnt too difficult to do,it just requires alot of blending. you want to start with a good foundation swept over your face, and maybe just use chapstick or a natural tone on your lips,as eye makeup this dark looks best with even looking skin and natural lips. you will need a charcoal/black eye pencil, matte dark brown shadow,a dark brown or black mascara and a shimmery gray shadow. start by sweeping the gray shadow across the lower area of your upper lid.then take the charcoal pencil, and line your upper lid. dont worry about perfection, as you will smudge it gently until it is blended evenly across your lid with the gray shadow. next line your bottom lash line with the pencil. take care to line in between all of the lashes(this can be tricky) as this is what gives the look its polished as opposed to tacky quality. after you have done that, dust some of the gray shadow just under the bottom lash line. next take the brown shadow and brush it in the outer creases of your lids, and under the gray shadow on the bottom, taking care to blend it all together. next add a little mascara to upper lashes and the outer lower lashes and your good. xo vivi [ Vivienne's advice column | Ask Vivienne A Question ]
