Okay they didnt really explain how this work so my question is if you get the depo(birth control)shot every 3months and you have unprotected sex and let the guy(you know)in you. How high is the risk of pregnancy?
Please answer ASAP!

the risk of pregnancy using a depo shot and no condom is about 93/96% effective if used correctly (not that great). if i were you, id use a condom as well

The depo shot works just like the birth control pill. Having unprotected sex should not result in a pregnancy.
Keep in mind that to be safe you should wait at least 24 hours after your first shot before having unprotected sex.
Of course having your partner use a condom is the only way to prevent an STD. Birth control does not protect you from those. :)
