My friends hate me for no reason (part 2)

Question Posted Wednesday April 8 2009, 10:58 am

yours was the best advice i received...and you seem to really know what you're talking about so i thought maybe you could help with the other part of the issue..
(i asked the question about my friends all hating me about the stupid dress thing)

okay, i just found out why theyre all doing this.

its all my so-called best friends fault.
She technically still lives with me, all her clothes and everything is still at my house, she just hasnt been there in over two months.

she pretty much stays with her boyfriend.
but when she asked his mom if she could just move in, his mom said no. so now they're trying to get me to kick her out so that his mom will think she has nowhere to go. and my other two so-called friends are just going right along with it.

it's bullshit.
so basically they completely ruined my reputation, made everyone at school think i did something horrible, and i have to walk through the halls alone now. my school is sooo small... 14 kids in our senior class, and every single kid in the school believes them.

grr... some friends..
should i fight fire with fire and be the "bitch" they accuse me of being?
or should i just ignore it (but that's really really REALLY hard)?

thanks..=)

I would tell you to just ignore it, but I'm gonna tell you what I did.

I had a lot of people at my highschool who weren't really my friends to begin with (& knew nothing about me) talking shit behind my back (as if I wouldn't find out) & they were saying I was a bitch, and a cunt, and I was stuck-up & all that shit. I can admit, I can be a bitch if you treat me like one, and I can be a cunt on my bad days, but I AM NOT stuck-up. So..I figured if I can't ignore them (I get frustrated so easy) that I'd just be what they said I was. That way, it wouldn't bug me & I'd be happy.

I'm gonna just advise you to be this huge bitch they say you're being. & You know what? You'll more than likely do something good when you graduate since you're a nice person. And when you go to your reunion in 10 years, they'll probably all be divorced like 5 times with 3 kids & no money.

Just be yourself. If these kids don't like you, that's fine. Nobody asked them to be your friend, and nobody asked them to dislike you. They did it all on their own & that's good. Fuck the bitches & everyone else. Life's too short to give a fuck what everyone thinks about you.

You'll be much happier when you realize the opinions do not matter.

Again, I really hope this helps you & you can move past these children. They're just unhappy with their own lives so they're taking it out on you. You'll be fine if you just be yourself. That's what I did & I eventually moved out of my city & ended up going 2000 miles away from everyone, haha. But yeah, just do that & you'll be happy. And senior year is over in no time anyways. :) Enjoy your prom, enjoy the rest of 12th grade, and enjoy your life.
