I think since it's your first job, you won't need a resume since you've had no experience. With no job experience, a resume is pretty much pointless. You'll more than likely be applying for jobs in retail anyways.

At an interview, they just ask you questions. They're gonna ask what you think you'll bring to the company, what skills you have that are valuable to the position you've applied to, and why you think you're good for the job. It's good not to have any extreme piercings such as your lip or your eyebrow (nose is fine, and so are ears). Also, no extremely visible tattoos which won't be a problem since you're 16 & it's illegal for you to have them anyways.

Make sure you wear something nice & appropriate. Black & white are usually nice but it's not bad to add some color. Stores like Wet Seal, Dots & Charlotte Russe usually have a section that has interview appropriate clothing. So obviously don't wear ripped jeans or a hollister tee shirt.

Maybe have a parent give you practice interviews so when you go into your interview, you know the ropes a little bit & you won't seem so nervous. Oh, and also when you get there, shake their hand, give them a smile & thank them for their time both when you arrive, and when you leave.

I'm sure that should help you. If you need anything else, just ask in my inbox. Good luck!

Well, making a resume is simple. The easy way to do it is to download a template from office.microsoft.com. That will show you what all you need as well as where it goes. I hope this helps.
