Tree Grows in Brooklyn

For a school project my friends and i are filming the scene from the book a tree grows in brooklyn where francie spends the night with lee. what chapter is this in and what clothing would be worn at this time? (time is around 1915 i believe) any help would be greatly appreciated

well there is a movies called " A Tree Grows in Brooklyn"
in case you didn't know... but in the movie as you know she's poor so i guess rags and panty hose for Francie and a raggedy dress ugly plain brown shoes i guess moccosins would work and that sort of thing if you've ever seen Annie the musical that's what i'm talking about!!!!
