I have been accepted to callege and have an invitation for students families and friends to go to a "faculty student reception" where questions will be answered and information will be shared about the program. Do you think this is beneficial and i should go or should i just wait for school to start and learn everything there, its about an hour and a half long with light dinner. Would you go? if so would you bring anyone??
Not only is it a great chance to meet some people before the school year starts, but it is also a great way to learn a little about the school before you go.
Trust me when I say that even though it might not be too stressful now, it's really stressful around August/September when you're getting ready to move in or start classes. It helps to have that knowledge, rather than worrying about the unknown.
